I create large-scale installations in a wide range of media, from selective focus photography to hand-embroidered textiles. My pieces feature ambient soundscapes along with other multimedia elements and are usually site-specific. I am fascinated by our connection to the past; my work also explores our relationship to the natural world. For more than a decade, my installations have been inspired by individuals and communities ranging from Girl Guides to professional gardeners. 

My most recent project is a large-scale multimedia installation celebrating the long-standing relationship between bats and churches. Commissioned by Bats in Churches, the piece is called 'On a Wing and a Prayer'. After a year spent travelling to churches throughout England, the installation is now on permanent display at St Peter's Church in Wintringham, North Yorkshire.
