I combine a wide range of media, from selective focus photography to hand-embroidered textiles, to create large-scale installations. My pieces feature ambient soundscapes along with other multimedia elements and are usually site-specific. I am fascinated by our connection to the past, as well as our relationship to the natural world. For more than a decade, my work has been inspired by people and communities ranging from Girl Guides to professional gardeners. 

My most recent project is a large-scale multimedia installation celebrating the long-standing relationship between bats and churches. Commissioned by Bats in Churches, the piece is called 'On a Wing and a Prayer'. Designed as a travelling exhibition, it was hosted by churches in Somerset, Wiltshire, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cornwall, Rutland and London. It is now on permanent display at St Peter's Church in Wintringham, North Yorkshire.
