I work in a wide variety of media, from Holga photography to hand-embroidered textiles. My pieces are often site specific, incorporating ambient soundscapes and other multimedia elements. I am interested in the links between the past and the present, as well as the relationship between people and the environment. Many of my projects have been collaborative and I have been privileged to work with people ranging in age from Girl Guides to older adults.
During the pandemic I returned to a more solitary way of working, with an emphasis on nature. I also redefined what it means, for me, to be a creative artist. Recent projects include rewilding a churchyard and also working with organisations that help people to live in harmony with nature and wildlife.
